CASE STUDY
iFit Vision Deck
On the back-end of a third round of post-Covid layoffs and a change in leadership, the company needed to communicate a strategy that communicated confidence and a plan to its employee base moving forward.
My role was the principal designer, copywriter (first drafts), & creative strategist.

Unique challenges
3,000+ employees were reeling from a slews of changes and uncertainty as the company was responding to unanticipated economic challenges. As part of an effort to regain some internal trust and stability, they wanted to launch a vision initiative, where employees would have some transparency for future goals and initiatives. I was asked to be the spear point in figuring out how to communicate this.

Solutions
After interviewing key leadership members, I had a slew of notes to work with to act as the starting point.
Story-telling was the most critical aspect of this project. It needed to be a simple, strait-forward message that employees would grasp could rally behind. Beginning with basic copy and black & white boxes I began building the narrative in Keynote. Starting with big statements that reiterated the companies vision and founding principles, I later introduced the strategy and the plan to accomplish it. Ending with a candid Q&A with the top executives.
After several rounds of revision and refinement I began putting pixels to screen. The concept of the layered triangle emerged. Each foundation building on the next, forming a shape that was not only strong but sharp and focussed. It became an icon that could stand alone, with minimal text or with more detail and elaboration.
What I ended up with.

In addition to the deck I also produced flyers that could be distributed to the employees and partners, summarizing the deck.

Results
The presentation was met with praise and, more importantly, helped quell some fears and instability that many were feeling.

The team
It’s always a team effort. Many thanks to the creative freedom, trust and feedback given to me by the executive team.
